Yeung Shun Yun is an experienced conveyancer of some 40 years standing.
She is well versed in property and banking law and has acted in countless number of transactions for vendors, purchasers, mortgagee banks and developers. She has the rare distinction of having had a pupil master in the person of the late Wee Eng Lock (son of the late Wee Swee Teow), who was the leading conveyancer of his time, and subsequently practised as his legal assistant. She still acts for a vast number of clients who are the children and the grandchildren of the clients of the late Wee Eng Lock. As a necessary corollary to her conveyancing work she is also involved in advising clients on probate and related matters, estate planning, the drafting of Wills, deeds of family arrangements, tenancy agreements and the like.
She is regularly consulted on conveyancing matters by junior lawyers and her peers. With her vast experience in conveyancing, she was called upon by the Board of Legal Education to impart her knowledge to young law graduates by conducting tutorials in conveyancing at the Post Graduate Practical Law Course. However, because of the pressures of work, she was only able to undertake such teaching responsibilities for a short period.
She has a practical approach to solving problems, delivering to clients advice well-suited to their needs.
She is conversant in Mandarin and several dialects which endears her to her Chinese speaking clients.
She has a daughter who is also a partner in the firm.
