Experience, specialisation and highlights

Prior to her practice with us, Cynthia co-founded her own firm to deliver fast, commercially strategic and bespoke legal services.

A seasoned corporate lawyer with wide ranging experience in corporate & commercial transactions, she regularly acts for many MNC clients in cross border M&A transactions. Her clients rely on her commercially astute legal advice on corporate and commercial law, intellectual property, and personal data issues. She is also experienced advising on family trust matters and has acted for major religious institutions in Singapore on the set up of their charitable trusts.  She is also experienced advising listed clients in the construction, property management and built environment sectors.

She is highly experienced in IP matters in life sciences sector, having headed the regional IP function in a multinational pharmaceutical conglomerate.

Cynthia also brings along her experience in public policy, having served in the Singapore Foreign Service and the Economic Development Board as its Centre Director for Israel.

Cynthia also sits on the Board of Governors for Spirit of Enterprise, an IPC established to promote entrepreneurship in Singapore’s medium and small enterprises.

She holds double Honours degrees in Law and Political Science from the National University of Singapore. Cynthia is called to the Singapore Bar.
