Experience, specialisation and highlights
Ms Yeung Shun Yun was called to the Singapore Bar in 1968 and has been in practice for more than 50 years. She was trained as a pupil by the late Wee Eng Lock (son of the late Wee Swee Teow) who was an eminent and erudite conveyancer.
With more than 50 years of experience, Shun Yun has acted in numerous and complex property transactions. These include the development and redevelopment of property involving amalgamation and subdivision of lands, termination of strata title subdivision, dissolution of the MCST, and strata title applications.
Her clients include banks, financial institutions, statutory boards, trustees (both individuals and corporate) and individuals and corporations, including developers, landlords, clan associations, family-owned businesses, non-profit organisations. Many of her clients span over two to three generations of families.
On the chancery side, Shun Yun regularly advises clients on trusts, probate and related matters, estate planning, the preparation of wills, deeds of family arrangements, many of which are complex in nature.
She is conversant in Mandarin, Cantonese and other dialects which endears her to her Chinese speaking clients.
